Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in marketing, social sciences, consumer psychology, business or related field required.
- 10+ years of experience in primary research management on the agency and/or the client side with a minimum of 6 years in broadcasting / media
- Experience in audience and market research, project management, analysis and research skills including experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, as well as the capability to analyze large amounts of data from varying sources and map it to business decisions.
- Experience in audience research for advertising
- Experience in managing a team of researcher covering qualitative, quantitative and online research
- Understanding and experience with TV and digital platforms
- Proven experience with all phases of market research
- Experience working with consumer and advertising cultures in various regions
- Experience with statistical analysis solutions (data management and analysis)
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
- Strongly self-motivated yet committed to a team orientation
Duties and responsibilities:
- Collect research needs of various business units and propose research to address those needs across multiple countries including multi-country indicators and analysis
- Design research programs that provide the level of accuracy and insights required (surveys, sample sizes, budgets, etc.)
- Manage subscriptions to audience measurement programs to satisfy business needs and provide required audience information
- Manage literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative primary research
- Manage piloting of media outputs with audiences to provide feedback to content developers
- Continuously evaluating audience reactions and engagement
- Working with business units to understand research outputs and develop actionable plans
- Manage and improve internal procedures and documentation e.g. commissioning of agencies, analysis of research results, cross tabulation, software solutions, etc. - Manage the publication of periodic research reports and ensure their timeliness and accuracy
- Set manage research budget efficiently while satisfying business needs
- Manage the development of research staff and maintain high level of motivation
