Job Profile 

Vision mixer or production switcher is a the Operator who selects between several different video sources and in some cases Compositing (mix) video sources together to create special effects and put the final signal of the gallery to AIR

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
• Making sure that the Vision Mixer is operating correctly and assigning the page meant for the studies
• Rebuilding new pages (including keying, DVEs and Effects) for the new and unsaved studios designs
• Following up the Director or the producer structure for the technical needs for the camera and video sources and implement them to the mixer
• On Air Operation, cutting, mixing, wiping,  using Visual effect, boxes, and keying the video elements following the director orders to make The output Video signal of the gallery ready on AIR
• Working in Outside broadcast (OB)
• Reporting to the heads if necessarily
• Attending Meetings

Academic & Professional Qualifications 

BA degree or Equivalent experience in the same field
